Jinyuan Zhang

Jinyuan Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from INSEAD (2021), an M.Sc. in Statistics from the University of British Columbia (2015), and a B.Sc. in Risk Management Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2013).

Research Interests: Zhang’s work spans financial intermediation, focusing on banking, pension funds, mutual funds, and FinTech. Her recent research investigates:

• Household savings reallocation in response to public pension deficits
• Corporate bond fund fragility during monetary policy shifts
• FinTech’s role in financial inclusion disparities
• Bitcoin adoption under economic policy uncertainty
