Jinia Mukerjee is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at MBS Education. She holds a PhD in Management Science from SKEMA Business School and a Doctorate in Science from Aix Graduate School of Management, Aix-Marseille Université. Her research focuses on innovation dynamics in organizations, workplace well-being, and the role of play in sustaining innovation. She also investigates psycho-markers in entrepreneurship and teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Qualitative Research methods across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
Key academic achievements include the Hind Rattan Award (2024), Best International Paper Award at AOM 2023, and a Top Three Best Paper nomination at EGOS 2017. Her work spans leading journals like Small Business Economics and Journal of Product Innovation Management, with contributions to understanding techno-overload, entrepreneurial resilience, and pandemic policy impacts.
Her research themes include entrepreneurship, innovation management, organizational theory, workplace well-being, and resilience strategies. She actively engages in policy-relevant studies on digital technology's dual effects and mental health in small businesses.
