Jingyi Shi

Jingyi Shi is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, affiliated with the McKelvey School of Engineering. She holds a BS from Peking University (1983) and a PhD in Physiology and Biophysics from SUNY Stony Brook (1994), followed by postdoctoral training at Stanford University's Department of Neurobiology. Her research focuses on ion channel function across three key areas: fundamental principles of ion channel operation, disease-linked mutations in ion channels, and drug targeting of ion channels.
