Jingwen Chen is a Hans Rademacher Instructor of Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Mathematics. His research focuses on Differential Geometry, Calculus of Variations, and Analysis of PDEs. He is mentored by Davi Maximo and previously studied under André Neves at the University of Chicago. His work explores geometric flows, minimal surfaces, and variational problems, with recent contributions to mean curvature flow and Allen-Cahn equation analyses. Chen will seek tenure-track positions in 2025.
