Jingliang Dong is a Senior Lecturer at Victoria University's First Year College and an ARC DECRA Fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Industries & Liveable Cities. He holds a PhD in Biomechanical Engineering from RMIT University (2015) and has postdoctoral experience at Chongqing University and RMIT. His research focuses on biomechanical engineering, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and interdisciplinary topics including inhalation therapy, cardiovascular hemodynamics, and urban air pollution.
Dr. Dong has authored over 100 publications, ranking among the top 100 global authors in Nasal Cavity and CFD fields (SciVal 2020-2023). He leads projects involving 3D-printed nasal replicas for drug delivery studies and collaborates with industry on fluid machinery and environmental engineering. Awards include the DECRA (2020) and 2024 Top Scholar recognition.
