معرفی
Dr. Jingjing Li is a Research Fellow at the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, UNSW Sydney, specializing in developing microfluidic models to study blood and cardiovascular development from pluripotent stem cells. Her work focuses on integrating biomechanical and biochemical cues to enhance cell differentiation and therapeutic applications.
Education: PhD (Biomedical Engineering, UNSW, 2019), Master of Biomedical Engineering (UNSW, 2011), Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Capital Medical University, 2007).
Research Interests: Microfluidic systems, stem cell bioengineering, cardiovascular development, and hemato-poietic lineage specification. Her lab uses lab-on-a-chip technologies to mimic fetal circulation and study blood formation dynamics.
Awards: Recognized for contributions to stem cell research, including travel grants and fellowships from ASSCR, AGCTS, and UNSW.
Grants: Lead and contributed to projects on cell manufacturing, microfluidics for medical devices, and cardiovascular disease modeling.
Supervision: Co-supervises PhD candidate Ada Lee on scaling lab-on-a-chip systems for cell therapies.
Engagement: Active in ISSCR, ISCT, and UNSW’s CVMM Theme. Teaches biomedical instrumentation and engineering courses.
