معرفی
Jingjin Yu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Rutgers University, School of Engineering. He leads the Algorithmic Robotics and Control Lab (ARC-L), focusing on optimal algorithms for robotics and control systems. His work integrates combinatorial methods and AI/ML to address challenges in multi-robot planning, object rearrangement, and sensor fusion.
Dr. Yu earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by postdoctoral research at MIT and Boston University. His research has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the NSF CAREER Award and the Amazon Research Award in Robotics.
Key research interests include multi-robot path planning, non-prehensile manipulation, and algorithmic foundations for robotics. His lab develops provably efficient algorithms with applications in automated warehouses, cluttered environments, and robotic grasping.
Recent work emphasizes tabletop rearrangement, grid-based storage optimization, and reinforcement learning for dynamic systems. Notable results include O(1)-optimal multi-robot path planning and solutions for complex puzzles like Rubik Tables.
