Jingge Yan

Jingge Yan is a Senior Lecturer in Piano at the Keyboard Department of Mozarteum University, where he has taught since 2017. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) and is also a Priv.-Doz. (Private Doctorate). His career combines concert performances with scholarly contributions to music.

As a performer, Yan has collaborated with renowned orchestras such as the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Rouen. His 2013 debut CD, featuring Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations and Bagatelles, solidified his reputation. In 2015, he became the first Chinese pianist appointed as a "Beethoven Ambassador" by the Beethoven-Haus Bonn and the City of Bonn.

Yan’s research and writing extend beyond performance, with contributions to music magazines and newspapers. His academic focus includes classical piano repertoire, particularly Beethoven, and pedagogical approaches to keyboard studies.
