Jing Tian is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Purdue University, affiliated with the College of Science. His research focuses on information security, networking, and operating systems, with particular attention to hardware security, USB protocols, and kernel vulnerabilities.
Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Florida (2019).
Research Interests: Includes PCIe authentication, USB security, SGX-based enclave computing, and fuzzing techniques for embedded systems. He co-chaired the SafeThings 2023 workshop on IoT safety and has published extensively on topics like hardware root-of-trust, kernel exploitation, and cryptographic protocol analysis.
