Jing Jing Chang serves as Associate Professor in the Department of English and Film Studies within the Faculty of Arts at Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario. Her scholarly work centers on Chinese cinematic traditions with particular expertise in Hong Kong film culture during the Cold War era.

Current work investigates the politics of sexuality and censorship in Hong Kong cinema, exploring how representations of sex shaped industrial categorization and cultural discourse from the 1970s onward.
