Jing Cai is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Maryland. She holds affiliations with the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and serves as Co-Chair of the Firm Sector at J-PAL, a Research Associate at NBER, and an affiliate of BREAD. Her research focuses on development economics and household finance, examining micro-enterprise growth, tax policy impacts, and financial innovations in developing countries.
