Professor Jindrich Toman is a faculty member at the University of Michigan's Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures, specializing in Central European cultural history and visual culture. With affiliations at the Center for Russian and East European Studies and Frankel Center for Judaic Studies, his work bridges linguistics, literary studies, and art history.
