Jin Yang

Jin Yang is a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, where he has been working since February 2023 in the research group of Prof. Iain McCulloch.

He earned his PhD in December 2022. His doctoral research, supervised by Prof. Thomas and Prof. Schomäcker at a Technical University (TU), focused on Functionalized microporous polymers and carbonaceous catalysts applied in photocatalysis and electro-catalysis.

Dr. Yang's research spans several areas within materials science and catalysis. His primary interests include:

• Catalysis (both photocatalysis and electrocatalysis)
• Materials Science, particularly advanced polymeric and carbon-based materials
• Polymer Chemistry for functional materials
• Electrochemistry in energy conversion

He is currently part of the research team led by Prof. McCulloch at Oxford, contributing to cutting-edge research in materials for energy applications.
