Jimmy Mouchard is a Lecturer in Roman archaeology at Nantes University's Department of Art History and Archaeology, specializing in wetlands, underwater, and subaquatic environments. He has served as Deputy Director of CReAAH (UMR 6566) and Head of the LARA Research Laboratory since 2022.

Collaborations span CNRS, DRASSM, and Inrap projects.
Mouchard's publications focus on Roman port systems and interdisciplinary methodologies. He supervises university dissertations and contributes to regional archaeological surveys in Pays de la Loire. Current collective research projects include maritime economy analysis in Bourgneuf Bay and Roman lead artifact studies in the Seine estuary.
