Jimmy Mikaoui is an Associate Professor in the Music Production and Engineering (MP&E) department at Berklee College of Music, a leading institution in contemporary music education. He brings extensive real-world experience from the global music industry into the classroom, having co-founded Marathon Music Group and Freak N See Music, and having managed award-winning artists.
His educational background includes a Master of Music in Music Production and Engineering from New York University (2004) and a law degree from Cornell University Law School (2002), which underpins his expertise in music business, intellectual property, and artist advocacy.

Mikaoui’s research and professional interests span music production, music technology, artist development, publishing, intellectual property, and the intersection of music with emerging technologies such as Web3.
