Jim Swanson is an Adjunct Professor at Huntington University with 22 years of teaching experience in graduate and undergraduate programs. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Western Michigan University, a M.A. in Counseling and Personnel Guidance from Eastern Michigan University, and a B.S. in Music and Biblical Studies from William Tyndale College.

As a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Indiana and Michigan, Dr. Swanson specializes in counseling psychology, ethics, and addictions. His academic focus spans leadership development, marriage and family therapy, and research methods in psychology.
Dr. Swanson currently serves as CEO of the Kosciusko Community YMCA in Warsaw, Indiana, while maintaining his adjunct teaching role. He has presented at conferences, churches, and seminars in both business and higher education sectors.
