Jim Scalise is a Professor of Practice in Accounting at the Poole College of Management, North Carolina State University. He transitioned to full-time faculty after teaching part-time for three semesters, bringing over 35 years of industry and consulting experience, primarily with KPMG as a management consultant. He co-owns Ivy Cottage, a home fashions retail business since 1995, which informs his classroom insights on small business operations.
