Jim Bywater

Dr. Jim Bywater is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Learning, Technology, and Leadership Education at James Madison University's College of Education. His work focuses on developing AI-driven tools to enhance teaching practices in K-12 settings, particularly in mathematics education. He holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia, an M.A. in Adult Education from Canterbury Christ Church University College (UK), and degrees in Physics from the University of Oxford.
