Jill R Krissberg is an Assistant Professor of Nephrology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital, affiliated with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her MD at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Sciences (2015) and a Master’s in Health Policy at Stanford University (2021), following residency and fellowship in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology at Stanford (2018–2021).

Dr. Krissberg is a physician advocate focused on health equity in pediatric kidney disease. Her work includes quality improvement initiatives in nephrology clinics, legislative advocacy for children’s health policy, and research on racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities in kidney disease outcomes. She has developed a novel index linking social vulnerability to kidney failure risk and pioneered programs to screen social determinants of health in clinical settings.
Her recent publications address caregiver burden, food insecurity, and social determinants in pediatric kidney transplant recipients and glomerular disease patients. She is affiliated with the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS) and actively contributes to professional societies, including the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and American Academy of Pediatrics.
