Jiang Tianzi is a Professor and Director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Brainnetome and Director of the Brainnetome Center at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He also holds positions as an Adjunct Senior Investigator at Zhejiang Lab and Professor at Queensland Brain Institute, University of Queensland, Australia. His research focuses on brain networks, neuroimaging, and multiscale brainnetome atlas applications in brain function and disorders. He has published over 300 papers in top-tier journals, with 16,000+ citations, and holds 50+ patents (42 approved).
- Education: BSc (Lanzhou University, 1984), PhD (Zhejiang University, 1994).
- Key Roles: Former Deputy Director of National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (2003-2006), Director of Sino-French Laboratory for Computer Science (2006-2013).
His research interests emphasize brain image analysis, neuromodulation, and biomarker development. He chairs major conferences like MICCAI’2010 and edits journals including IEEE Trans. on Medical Imaging and NeuroImage.
