Jiang HE

Jiang HE is a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), with a focus on Boron-based materials and organic-inorganic hybrid systems. He transitioned to SUSTech in April 2025 after completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Shenzhen University.

His research centers on developing boron-containing small molecular drugs, synthesizing electron-deficient heteroarene-fused boroles, and studying donor-π-acceptor (D-π-A) compounds with thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF). He also explores main group element-doped polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and electron-deficient organic cations.

Recent publications reveal a focus on fluorescent dyes with large Stokes shifts, optical tuning of boron complexes, and dual emission phenomena in borole systems through weak B–N coordination. His work bridges synthetic chemistry, materials science, and medicinal applications.
