Dr. Jianbo Jiao is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham, leading the Machine Intelligence + x (MIx) group. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme) and an MSc from Peking University. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a postdoctoral researcher in the Biomedical Image Analysis (BioMedIA) group and Visual Geometry Group (VGG) at the University of Oxford.
