Jia (Joya) Yu is an Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research focuses on advanced methodologies in organizational studies and team dynamics.

Research Interests:
Jia Yu investigates team microdynamics, social network/social capital, leadership, and organizational research methods. She applies advanced techniques such as Bayesian modeling, machine learning, big data analysis, and qualitative case studies to uncover new workplace phenomena. Her work also intersects with strategic human resource management and CliftonStrengths® concepts like Ideation, Learner, and Relator.
