Ji Tao

Ji Tao is a Lecturer at the Arts Center of Southern University of Science and Technology, specializing in vocal performance and music education. He previously taught at Tianjin Normal University from 2007 to 2016.

• Education: B.A. in Vocal Music from Tianjin Conservatory of Music (2007), M.A. from Sehan University (South Korea, 2009)

His research focuses on public music education, ethnomusicology, and the intersection of art and science. He has explored the marketization of traditional music and analyzed TV talent shows and digital music consumption.

He has served as a judge for international vocal competitions, including the Bellini International Vocal Competition and Asia Young Singer Competition, and has performed solo concerts globally. Awards include the Outstanding Music Educator Award (2013, 2016).
