Jeunghoon Lee is Associate Professor with joint appointment in Chemistry & Biochemistry and Materials Science & Engineering at Boise State University. He leads the Quantum DNA Research Group focused on DNA nanotechnology and quantum coherent systems.
Research explores functional nanomaterials, DNA nanotechnology, and excitonic processes including:
- DNA-directed molecular assembly
- Exciton delocalization mechanisms
- Dye aggregate photophysics
- Biosensing applications
Publications demonstrate advanced techniques in templating dye aggregates using DNA nanostructures, with emphasis on controlling excitonic coupling, energy transfer pathways, and photophysical properties through molecular design and nanostructure engineering.
