Jesús Gomis Almendro

Jesús Gomis Almendro is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Martir, within the Department of Animal Production and Health, Veterinary Public Health, and Food Science and Technology (PASAPTA). He holds a PhD in Animal Medicine and Reproduction from the University of Murcia (2013) with a focus on non-surgical porcine embryo transfer and reproductive biotechnologies.

He has supervised Master's theses in Food Safety and Pig Health, co-directs two Doctoral Theses, and collaborates in national/regional public projects and R&D&I contracts with private companies.

Active in teaching innovation and continuing education, he has led seminars on porcine biotechnology, cattle clinical practices, and veterinary training methodologies. With extensive clinical experience in ruminants and pigs, he is affiliated with AERA (Spanish Association of Animal Reproduction) and ANEMBE (National Association of Bovine Medicine Specialists).
