Jesús Díaz

Jesús Díaz is an Associate Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy and Associate Chair of Diversity, Access and Equity at the University of Southern California Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. He earned his undergraduate, master’s, and clinical doctorate degrees at USC. His roles include supporting NIH-funded research, teaching in the professional master’s program, mentoring Occupational Therapy Doctorate students, and providing clinical services for children with early intervention needs. He oversees diversity and inclusion initiatives across the division’s education, research, and clinical missions.

• Education: All degrees completed at University of Southern California.

Research focuses on fidelity measures, spinal cord injury management, and pressure ulcer prevention. His clinical work integrates home and clinical settings for pediatric occupational therapy. As a leader in diversity initiatives, he develops policies to advance equity goals at the division and university levels.
