Jesús Diego Castillo is an Assistant Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain at NEOMA Business School. He holds a Ph.D. in Business and Finance from Carlos III University of Madrid, a Research Master's in Business and Finance, and a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering. During his Ph.D., he was a Visiting Research Fellow at Copenhagen Business School's Department of Operations Management.
His research focuses on supply networks, emphasizing cognitive integration, socio-ecological resilience, sustainability, and risk management. He applies quantitative methods to study financial and non-financial outcomes of supply networks. His work has been recognized with the 2022 ISM Best Supply Chain Paper Award.
Jesús teaches sustainable supply chain, procurement, and green mobility in the MSc in Sustainable Transformation. He has reviewed for journals like the Journal of Business Logistics and participates in industry projects on supply chain traceability.
His recent academic contributions include studies on supplier transparency, ESG risk exposure, and supply network accessibility. He actively contributes to conferences such as the Academy of Management Annual Meeting and the VI Encuentro Internacional de Especialización para la Investigación en Economía y Empresa.
