Jesus Anaya Diaz

Jesus Anaya Diaz serves as a Professor in the Department of Architectural Construction and Technology at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), holding this position since September 22, 2017, after previously serving as Interim University Professor from July 9, 2012. His academic career is centered within UPM's engineering and architecture framework with active research engagement.

His research focuses on Sustainable Architecture and Bioclimatic Architecture, integrating Construction Engineering, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, and Structural Engineering principles. This specialization drives his contributions to environmentally responsive building solutions and energy-efficient design methodologies within the Spanish architectural context.

Professor Anaya Diaz actively participates in the Bioclimatic Architecture in a Sustainable Environment (ABIO) research group since November 2021, where he advances sustainable construction practices through interdisciplinary collaboration focused on climate-responsive building systems and resource optimization.
