Ms Jessie-Briar Treloar is a PhD candidate (Higher Degree by Research Candidate) at the University of Adelaide, affiliated with the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology within the School of Biological Sciences (Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology). Supervised by Dr Liz Reed, Dr Mark Hutchinson, and Dr Lee Arnold, her research focuses on Quaternary vertebrate palaeontology, particularly examining fossil deposits from the Naracoorte Caves World Heritage Area spanning the Late Quaternary to Holocene epochs.
- Primary Research Focus: Palaeoecology, taphonomy, and taxonomy of small mammals in the Naracoorte Caves during Marine Isotope Stage 4 to MIS 3 (Pleistocene).
- Special Interest: Australian rodent species and their fossil records.
