Jessica Starr, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Auburn University's Harrison College of Pharmacy, with additional faculty appointment in the Department of Medical Education. She practices as a clinical pharmacy specialist at Princeton Baptist Medical Center, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care in internal medicine.
Her educational background includes a Pharm.D. from Auburn University (2004), pre-pharmacy coursework at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completion of ASHP-accredited residencies in pharmacy practice and adult internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Starr's scholarly focus centers on cardiovascular pharmacotherapy and evidence-based medicine implementation. She has mapped cardiovascular disease state curricula across all professional years, developed integrated evidence-based medicine coursework, and offers specialized cardiology electives. Her teaching directly bridges classroom theory with clinical application through IPPE and APPE rotations at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
