Jessica Paxton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Roosevelt University, affiliated with the College of Humanities, Education & Social Sciences. She specializes in clinical neuropsychology, focusing on executive functioning and memory performance across healthy and clinical populations.
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis
- Teaches graduate courses in clinical psychology and undergraduate courses in neuropsychology and neuroscience
Her research investigates the component processes of executive functioning, their vulnerabilities in different populations, and their malleability through environmental manipulations, practice, or training. She also examines how task complexity and multitasking affect cognitive performance.
