Jessica Henderson is an Assistant Professor in the Counselor Education and Families Studies Department at Liberty University's School of Behavioral Sciences. She teaches in the school counseling program and has prior experience as an Assistant Professor at Northwest Nazarene University and Eastern Washington University (2013-2014). She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Counseling from Idaho State University, an M.A. in Counselor Education from the University of Montana, and a B.S. in Psychology from Boise State University.

Her research interests include student counseling, multicultural counseling, career counseling, and online education strategies. She has contributed to the Idaho Wellness Journal (2022), focusing on wellness initiatives in educational settings.
Professional roles include serving as President of the Idaho Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (2019–2020) and Secretary of the Idaho Career Development Association (2018–2020). She is a member of the American Counseling Association, American School Counselor Association, and Chi Sigma Iota.
She teaches courses such as Professional, Ethical, & Legal Issues in School Counseling; Multicultural Counseling; and Career Counseling.
