Jessica Greene, PhD, is a Professor and the Luciano Chair of Health Care Policy at the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College, City University of New York. Her research focuses on patient and clinician trust in health care settings, Medicaid policy, and health equity. She currently leads the Learning Team for RWJF’s Monitoring Medicaid Using Lived Experience Project.

Research Interests: Professor Greene’s work centers on understanding and improving patient trust in health care systems, Medicaid policy, health equity, and patient activation. She uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore how provider behaviors, organizational culture, and policy design influence patient experiences and outcomes.

She has served on editorial boards, expert panels, and as a reviewer for numerous journals and agencies, including Health Affairs, Journal of General Internal Medicine, and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
Teaching & Courses: At Baruch College, she teaches courses in research methods and health policy, including Data Collection and Description, Health Care Equity, and Research and Analysis.
