Jessica Fassnidge is a Lecturer (Teaching) in Sport & Exercise Science at the University of Worcester, affiliated with the School of Sport and Exercise Science. She joined the university in January 2023 after working as an Exercise Physiologist with Hereford and Worcester Fire Service.
- Education: MSc in Strength, Conditioning and Performance (University College Birmingham), BA in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing (Flagler College)
Research & Teaching Interests: Focused on strength and conditioning, ACL rehabilitation, return-to-play strategies, and women’s football. She teaches modules on Sports Rehabilitation, Physiological Support of the Elite Athlete, Physical Activity & Health, Work-Based Learning, and Clinical Exercise Physiology.
Professional Background: Jess brings extensive experience in college recruitment from College Scholarships USA, where she identified athletes for scholarships, and has held roles in football coaching and fitness instruction.
