Jessica Comino

Jessica Comino is a PhD candidate in Urban and Regional Development (2022-2025) at Polytechnic University of Turin's Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning (DIST). She concurrently serves as an External Collaborator for International Affairs (INCAM) and a Part-Time Lecturer at DIST, where she contributes to courses on remote sensing, urban planning, and climate change adaptation across engineering and architecture programs.

Her research explores the intersection of urban development and technology, with focus areas including:

• Participatory mapping for heritage conservation
• Geospatial technology applications in developing regions
• Climate adaptation strategies for urban infrastructure
• UAV-based mapping methodologies
