Jessica Ciomperlik-Patton, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University under the mentorship of Dr. Kevin Myles. She is affiliated with the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences and Texas A&M AgriLife. Her work focuses on molecular virology and antiviral RNA interference mechanisms in mosquitoes. Dr. Ciomperlik-Patton holds a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University, an M.S. in Plant Pathology from Texas A&M, and a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin.
Research interests include understanding host-virus interactions, particularly how mosquitoes combat RNA viruses through RNA interference pathways. She contributes to advancing knowledge in vector biology and antiviral strategies. No specific grants, awards, or student advisement are documented here.
