Jessica Borelli is a Professor of Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine. Her research focuses on developmental psychopathology, examining links between close relationships, emotions, health, and development, particularly anxiety and depression. She specializes in harnessing relationship science to develop interventions for mental health improvement. Her work emphasizes culturally adapted interventions for low-income and ethnic minority communities, often collaborating with community agencies.
