Dr Jessica Bohorquez is a Grant-funded Researcher at the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering within the University of Adelaide’s Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. She focuses on water pipeline inspection and monitoring techniques using pressure transients and artificial intelligence, with a particular interest in optimizing energy use in water supply systems through renewable energy integration.
Her research includes:
- Analysis of high-frequency pressure measurements for transient network calming in smart water networks
- Active and passive pipeline inspection using Artificial Neural Networks and fluid transients
- Energy optimization with solar and battery storage systems
