Jessica Allred serves as a Lecturer in the Preparatory Program at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, having joined following the university's merger with The Petroleum Institute where she worked for three years. Prior to this, she taught at Princess Noura University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for two years.
Her extensive international teaching career spans diverse contexts: instructing English at a New York City middle school, teaching students of all ages across Chinese schools, providing business English tutoring to Texas executives, and teaching basic English to newly arrived refugees in the United States. Her professional focus centers on practical language acquisition and pedagogical adaptation across cultural settings.
Her research interests emphasize English Language Teaching methodologies and Second Language Acquisition processes, with particular dedication to observable improvements in students' comprehension and production skills. She approaches language education through real-world application across varied learner demographics, from academic to professional and refugee populations.
