Her research focuses on ADHD developmental trajectories across the lifespan, hormonal influences on women's ADHD functioning, and gene-environment interactions. Current projects include A Life Course Approach to Understanding ADHD Among Women (MRC-funded) and studies on gambling harms (GambleAware-funded).
Recent publications examine:

- Verbal memory impairments in ADHD
- Social isolation in ADHD populations
- Delayed ADHD diagnosis in women
- Covariate environmental factors in neurodevelopment
She supervises PhD students Alexandria Bartley, Chiara Caserini, Anna Paul, and Amandine Sénéquier, and collaborates with researchers like Margherita Malanchini and Giorgia Michelini.
