معرفی
Jesse Popov, MD, PhD, is an Associate Investigator at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) and a faculty member at McGill University. He is affiliated with the Cardiovascular Health Across the Lifespan Program, where his research bridges cardiovascular medicine, nanomedicine, and cancer therapeutics.
His research interests span lipid nanoparticles, monoclonal antibody therapies, and membrane biophysics. A significant portion of his work involves the development of rituximab-functionalized nanoparticles for targeted lymphoma therapy, alongside fundamental studies on lipid rafts and ceramide signaling in cellular membranes.
Dr. Popov’s publication record reflects a dual focus on translational cancer research and biophysical investigations of membrane organization. His recent work includes gene expression profiling in B-cell lymphomas and the optimization of multivalent antibody-nanoparticle constructs for enhanced therapeutic efficacy.
Laboratory and Research Environment: Dr. Popov conducts his research within the RI-MUHC’s state-of-the-art facilities, leveraging interdisciplinary collaborations across the Cardiovascular Health Across the Lifespan Program and other RI-MUHC research themes.
