Jesper Holm is Associate Professor Emeritus at Roskilde University's Department of People and Technology, where he researches sustainability transitions in tourism, construction, and environmental governance. His Transitions center examines ecological modernization pathways.
Holm investigates citizen involvement in nature area transitions, eco-tourism development, and local environmental deliberation. Current projects include nature park planning in Åmosen and climate-oriented construction governance in Zealand.
He coordinates international networks on environmental regimes and sustainable communities. Holm contributes to EU research programs on ecological innovation and serves on advisory committees for nature conservation planning in Denmark.
