Jesper Fries

Jesper Fries is a Research Fellow at the Center of Excellence in Early Intervention and Family Studies (CIF) within the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

• PhD in Economics, University of Copenhagen

Research Interests: Dr. Fries specializes in education and early interventions, investigating student well-being and test performance through quantitative analysis of school characteristics including class size and peer composition. His work examines causal relationships in gender disparities in teacher grading and explores early childhood mental health associations with infant withdrawal using register data methodologies.

Center Affiliation: He contributes to the Center of Excellence in Early Intervention and Family Studies (CIF), an interdisciplinary research hub focused on evidence-based family and child intervention strategies.
