His publication trajectory reveals a progression from traditional Old English phonology studies toward computational analysis of historical texts, particularly focusing on 16th-century Bible translations. His recent work employs cluster analysis, N-gram modeling, and cosine similarity measurements to examine textual relationships in Psalm translations and devotional manuals, representing significant contributions at the intersection of linguistics and digital humanities.
Dr. Wójcik has been an active thesis supervisor since 2006, guiding numerous Master's and Bachelor's students through research on semantic field development, contrastive linguistics, and corpus-based analyses. His supervision spans diverse topics including historical terminology, collocation studies, and Bible translation comparisons, with recent emphasis on computational methods using R for linguistic analysis.
