Prof. Jerzy Kutnik is a full professor at the Faculty of Philology, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, where he has shaped American Studies for decades. His academic career includes leadership roles as Head of the English Teaching College (1992-2005), Academic Supervisor at Foreign Languages Teacher Training College (1992-2014), and Dean of Social Sciences Faculty at Vincent Pol University (2002-2013). He has received multiple Rector's Awards and state honors including the Silver Cross of Merit (2000).

His teaching and supervision continue to influence Polish-American scholarship.
