Jerry Gao is a Professor in the Computer Engineering department at San Jose State University's Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering. He led an interdisciplinary team in a 2019 research project commissioned by the City of San José to analyze global mass warning systems and develop recommendations for an all-inclusive public alert infrastructure.
