Jerin Burch

Jerin Burch serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology and Clinical Director for the SLP graduate program at Indiana University South Bend, where she supervises clinical training at the IUSB Elkhart Speech-Language Clinic and leads community-focused clinical initiatives.

Her academic foundation:

• Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology (Indiana University Bloomington)
• Clinical Fellowship Year (Mayo Clinic Hospital, Phoenix)

With extensive cross-setting clinical experience spanning acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient, skilled nursing, assisted living, and secondary education environments, her expertise centers on gender affirming voice training and adult neurogenic disorders, coupled with deep specialization in clinical supervision methodologies. Her work integrates direct patient care with graduate student mentorship to advance clinical education standards in speech-language pathology.

As Clinical Director, she oversees the development of collaborative community programs designed to enhance student competency while addressing regional healthcare needs through the Elkhart Speech-Language Clinic.
