Jeremy Verwys is an Adjunct Professor of Guitar at Cornerstone University’s School of Ministry, Media & the Arts. He teaches applied guitar lessons and integrates his expertise in music therapy and performance into his pedagogy. Professor Verwys co-owns West Michigan Music Therapy, providing therapeutic sessions for clients of all ages using music as a transformative tool. He holds dual Master of Music degrees in Music Therapy and Performance from Illinois State University, alongside a Bachelor of Music in Performance and an Associate of Music.

His professional focus bridges clinical practice and artistic expression, emphasizing the therapeutic applications of music. Outside academia, Verwys enjoys running, biking, bicycle repair, and family time. His personal creative work includes writing and performing original music.
