Jeremy Sokhi is an Associate Professor in Pharmacy Practice at the University of East Anglia (UEA), affiliated with the School of Chemistry, Pharmacy and Pharmacology. He holds roles including Director of Learning and Teaching, Placements Director, and Public and Patient Involvement Officer. His expertise spans pharmacy practice, experiential learning, and workplace-based training. Sokhi has over 10 years of community pharmacy experience and completed a PhD on postgraduate diplomas in pharmacist development. He is a recipient of the 2016 UEA Transforming Teaching Award for Most Innovative Teaching.
Education: BSc in Pharmacy (De Montfort University), Postgraduate Diploma in Community Clinical Pharmacy (Aston University), and PhD from UEA. His research focuses on peer-to-peer teaching, workplace learning, and diabetes prevention in community pharmacy settings. Notable contributions include studies on longitudinal placements for trainee pharmacists and community pharmacy-based diabetes prevention strategies.
